Although most plastics and rubber products are largely impervious to water, many allow water vapour to pass straight through, often almost unhindered.  This causes many problems - from packaged drugs loosing effectiveness through to food drying out, and from machinery jamming to electronics that fails.

The Versaperm WVTR meter was designed to overcome these problems, producing accurate and repeatable results for materials, containers and finished products.  Conventional measurements take several days, but the Versaperm system is much faster, taking from as little as 30 minutes for some materials.

The meter can deal with several samples at a time and is simple to use.  It needs no re-calibration and requires, at most, minimal training.  Sensitivities are in the range 0.05 – 3200g/m2/day and accuracies can be better than one part per million.

A wide range of options is available, depending on application.  They include single and multi-sample systems and a variety of accessories for testing samples the size of a thimble through to a loaded pallet.
